    The house has everything you could want and felt like home after a couple of hours. It's spotlessly clean, has a high spec and is wonderfully remote. We were only a family of four, and had 4 spare bedrooms, but the house could easily host 12 adults. Don't miss out on the local farm shop - it's excellent!

    Well appointed house for large numbers. Perfect large round table for group meals. Well-equipped kitchen; only one suggestion, take your own cutting boards [who knows which wooden board has been used for cutting raw chicken] Lovely garden - and Nordic games for all ages for the garden as well as lots of indoor games and books. In easy reach not only of the fells but of all sorts of water activities on Ullswater. Good mobile telephone reception. Excellent choice for families and friends.
