Ventnor Botanic Garden lies in the remarkable micro-climate at the heart of the famous ’Undercliff’. This unique garden is protected from the cold northerly winds by chalk downs. In addition to enjoying the lovely gardens, it also hosts events and exhibitions and there is a restaurant and café on-site for refreshments, lunch, or coffee and cake! From the esplanade you can take the level walk, along the sea wall to Bonchurch, or walk along the cliff path towards Steephill Cove, a beautiful sheltered bay only accessed by foot.
