Excellent week at St Mary's Croft, perfectly located for all of the attractions on the Rhins of Galloway. Castle Kennedy Gardens and Mull of Galloway especially worth a visit. Great location for getting into Stranraer for supermarkets and eating out (recommend Custom House pub & Sun Kai Chinese restaurant). The cottage was extremely spacious all of the rooms were really big with lovely furniture. Well equipped kitchen and great front garden. Leaving the best till last were the views from both lounges and 2 of the 3 bedrooms straight over Loch Ryan. Would highly recommend the cottage for anyone looking to stay and explore the Rhins of Galloway.

A lovely cottage-well furnished with all mod cons-only slight grumble would be wifi not very good- but that may be due to location. Views across Loch Ryan are spectacular and garden is child and dog safe! Walks on the local beaches are a treasure trove of shells. Shops are 10 minutes away in Stranraer on good road network.

As a base for a Golf Holiday, the property was perfect, less than 10 minutes to the course, the cottage was clean and comfortable and very private. The only negative thing I could say is that the cottage needs new Garden Furniture. The enclosed garden meant that we could leave the dog happily to roam.We would definitely book the cottage again

We enjoyed our visit to the cottage. My friend fell in love with it. Plenty to see and visit. Our first time in Scotland loved it

An old fashioned house with old fashioned furniture and decor, but quite large. 1 of the double beds is very comfortable but the the other is apparently like sleeping on straw bales. My fishing buddy decided to sleep in one of the single beds rather than the double straw bale. The house is very warm and cosy for a big house. There is only one decent shower in the house and that's crammed into a broom cupboard, the other shower downstairs is no good. The house needs a clothes dryer if a family was staying. There is plenty of parking for many cars and is nice and quite through day and night with great views overlooking Loch ryan. It suited 2 anglers with not so many needs but a family may be disappointed with the bathroom and shower/laundry arrangements.

Secure garden good for both the kids and dog. Welcome pack a nice surprise, however milk and coffee would of been more beneficial. Lovely big bath! If we are in the area again we would definately stay here again.
