Close to the sandy beach promenade and the heritage town centre this is an ideal base for those wanting to relax with an easy level walk to all amenities including an indoor pool gym leisure centre and plenty of places to eat out. Trips out include Hornsea Mere for walking and bird watching Hornsea Golf Course Freeport for shopping Honeysuckle Farm The Deep at Hull and of course Bridlington Scarborough Filey and Flamborough are all popular days out.     The cottage was adequate for our needs but the whole cottage could do with an update all things are dated the brushes and mop were not usable so we bought a mop as the wood flooring was filthy. We found black dog hairs in the bathroom and the basket that contained the games etc was covered in fluff and dirt. The owners allowed us to bring our two dogs as they were only small and it was ideal for them being able to look out and observe people passing by. We love Hornsea it is a lovely place and got everything we need but unfortunately will be looking for a different cottage to visit on our next journey there.

    The cottage was fine. It was clean and fairly comfy(we are used to a king sized bed). We had a sea view and a very short walk to the beach, with a 15 min. walk in to town. It was quiet with lot's of places not open for the season yet, which was fine by us.

    Whilst the accommodation itself was lovely, we were disappointed as we booked because the online description said it had wifi and was dog friendly with an enclosed garden. When we arrived there were a couple of signs discouraging the use of the wifi and stating that excessive use would be charged - I book accommodation three times per year and have never come across this before when a description has stated wifi is available and there was also a message asking not to let the dogs in the garden! Again the reason I booked was because there was an enclosed garden.

    A most enjoyable stay in a very comfortable well located place. Hornsea is a delightful little seaside town. It was our first visit there and we will certainly return.
