This is our second visit to Stour Cottage, and we were very happy there. It is a sweet little cottage, cozy and nicely decorated, near to the centre of Sandwich and with a Co-op just round the corner. There are lots of places to walk dogs, and a good bus service. The cottage is well equipped, and very comfortable. There was room for our large car in the garage, with the mirrors turned in, which was convenient as parking is a bit of a problem in Stour Place. Sandwich is a gorgeous, medieval town, there are lots of cafes, restaurants, and the river is a really pretty place to stroll along. We will definitely book this cottage again.

We only had a few problems, mainly the directions given by your company and the cottage owner. If you have a average size vehicle it was almost impossible to drive through the roads as directed on all the information given due to the narrowness of the road and parked cars. An update on finding the cottage is required. The best way in was from Deal end of the town.

Lovely area, cottage was quite cramped but adequate as we were not there much. Parking was difficult at best , there was a garage but only ok if you have a small car. Sandwich is a lovely village and locals were very friendly.

Lovely cottage. Beautiful town with plenty of great walks. Friendly locals. Only downside was the oven which I found difficult. Would be nice to have a dog bowl. Will definitely return.
