Welcome pack. No smoking. NB 7 steps in courtyard.\nSet on the owner’s smallholding this comfortable home makes an excellent holiday base. Ideal for walking and cycling it is near the Severn Valley Wales and the Forest of Dean’s lakes picnic sites and wildlife. There is also Battlesports with outdoor laser gun sport. Golf riding fishing and climbing locally. Hillside micro brewery is nearby and well worth a visit. Enjoy a trip to Puzzlewood Go Ape and the Birds of Prey Centre. Cheltenham and Hereford are within 45 minutes for shopping bars and restaurants or visit Ross-on-Wye and Ledbury for shops and galleries.     Excellent location, excellent host, well equipped lodge, I would say it was perfect. Easy to get to all the beautiful places we wanted to see from here, car parking at lodge when we returned from our days out and a couple of nice pubs nearby. Even have friendly goats as neighbours. Would definitely return and highly recommend this beautiful lodge.

    This is a lovely apartment. It has everything you need. It is immaculate throughout. Location is perfect for exploring, although by the A40, it was very quiet overnight, we have more traffic on a b road near our house. Feeding the goats was great fun. There is so much to do nearby, Gloucester and Ross on Wye very close and both lovely. Venture no more than 40 miles into South Wales for more fantastic places to visit. Only place we wouldn't recommend is Stroud, very disappointing. A week wasn't long enough to visit all the places we wanted to see. A walk up May Hill opposite the house is a must, for fantastic views. Would definitely visit again, and would definitely like to stay at same accommodation.

    We spent two nights here and were really impressed, by the space, the thoughtful layout and very high standard for the price. We liked the privacy of being further down the lane from the owners house. We received a very warm welcome from the hosts, who explained a lot about local places and where to eat. For value for money, this is one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in and look forward to returning again, but hopefully for a longer stay next time. well done, loved it!
