Cosy and well positioned lodge right in the centre of Ludlow. It is a three minute walk to the train station should you want to travel further afield and there are some excellent pubs and restaurants on the same road. Would thoroughly recommend and would stay again.

Ludlow is a beautiful town, with a fabulous market and shops. Both the town and the surrounding area is full of walks, activities and places to visit. The cottage itself is perfect, up a quiet private close with its own parking. It is really well designed and laid out, beautifully equipped and extremely comfortable. The accommodation is above a pair of garages and accessed by a metal staircase. Inside, the carpeted hallway leads to a cloakroom/wc, and the living /dining / kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a woodburner in the living area which must make the place very snug. There is also central heating and hot water on demand. Up the carpeted stairs is a double bed, side tables, a dressing area with hanging and plenty of drawers, and the bathroom. The large bath has a shower curtain and shower over. There are plenty of windows and velux for ventilation. The owner is helpful and charming. Try it! You won’t be disappointed!

The cottage is very well-placed for visiting Ludlow on foot. The cottage is very practical, but some extra warmth may be needed as no sun comes in during the day. The steps to the door are a bit of a challenge to those who have had a hip replacement.

Excellent accommodation close to eateries, pubs, train station, bus stops and a supermarket virtually next door. All the mod cons you could wish for and a log burner that really chucks the heat out! Ludlow is a lovely market town with a castle, river and many local walks. Rhonda, our landlady was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a brilliant week. Would definitely return and recommend. Many thanks, Keith & Val.
