Tucked away on the owners’ own small farm at the end of a private track it stands in an AONB, a ½ mile from the Nidderdale Way, ideal for walking or for simply relaxing in the charming garden. The renowned rock formations of Brimham Rocks are just 1 mile and historic Fountains Abbey just 3 miles. Pateley Bridge is 3 miles and is well served with individual country shops and cafes whilst the city of Ripon is just 8 miles. For the shopaholics, Harrogate is 12 miles; afternoon tea in Betty’s is a must. Shop 3 miles pub serving food 400 yards.

    Tucked away down a country track, Sugar Hill Cottage provides peace, tranquillity and a chance to get close to nature. All local amenities are near and access is direct by car. The hosts, Arthur and Judy live nearby and are extremely helpful. Our week included country trecking, relaxing at the cottage and making visits to surrounding towns and villages. A lovely experience and one that will be a great memory.

    This cottage is comfortable and the owners very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. It is down a track and some distance from shops etc so you will need a car.
