Lovely little cottage for two in an unspoilt part of the countryside. Only had a short break but would love to return sometime.

Beautiful cottage, lovely owner and love the quiet location. Amazing how everything fits into a small space, and a lovely garden to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Heating kept us cosy in the evening.plenty to see with National Trust places to visit. Do try Little Moreton Hall - the tour guide was full of interesting facts! Rudyard Lake an excellent walk for us. Would happily come back and stay again. And do visit the Church - full of history. Many thanks to Peter and Carol.

Lovely owners, cottage is very quaint, but its situation means there are no views of the countryside from the property, which is a shame in an area with such fantastic views. The shower is tiny and was almost impossible for my 6ft 4in husband to use unless he stood with one foot out of the shower and his head twisted to one side because of the low headroom. The stairs are very steep, and are hard to negotiate when you have arthritis as I do. I think had the steepness of the stairs and the low headroom in the shower been mentioned in the property description I would not have booked it.
