A real home from home. Such lovely people too. Thoroughly recommended!!! The walk in wet room made it so very easy for our disabled son. Slept like logs in a strange bed!

This is a delightful little cottage and was well equipped for my disabled mother. I have had to mark them low on amenities because there is nothing in the village except a post box but that is what we wanted. The owners were lovely and we couldn't have asked for more. The only thing I would suggest is more pans and tumblers. The surrounding fields provided lovely walks, Appleby was a lovely town and the lakes were within easy driving distance. Thank you very much

Cottage was dirty lots of cobwebs, had to wash 2 pans before using as they had not been washed , had to mop bathroom floor after every shower otherwise you were paddling. A bare wire to the towel rail, sofa had a broken leg, courtyard cobbles very slippery . Could go on but we came home on day 3 out of 7. Views would be lovely if the shed and chicken coop wasn’t blocking it. Very unhappy and cottages. Com not very helpful☹️☹️
