A great place to stay for both Lakes and Northern Penines. Home from home, beautifully appointed and clean. Wonderful to see red squirrels outside the window. White wine and milk already waiting for you was a lovely touch. Dave, our site manager was very welcoming. We did not need to call upon his help for anything as everything was perfect. Thank you for a great short break.

Lovely park, but spoilt by the relentless noise of heavy traffic from the dual carriageway 50 yards away

It was a wonderful break. We were snowed in for 2 days. It looked like we were in Switzerland! We weren't bothered about not being able to go out as the chalet was very cozy and and with the cheerful assistance of Arthur who brought us some milk, everything went very well. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. The chalet was warm enough even though it was freezing outside. There were lots of rabbits and deer about. The environment is absolutely beautiful. It was very close to the A66, so easily accessible. We will be returning.
