The house is located on a busy road. You can hear engine noise day and night and see the headlights at night in the bedroom. In the evening there was often no Internet after 8 pm. Initially, an adapter for electrical appliances with continental European plugs was missing. We did not receive any instruction in the house, e.g. the heating, hot water. A pump caused constantly recurring noise during the day and at night, so it was almost impossible to fall asleep in the bedroom with 2 beds. Even if the house itself is beautiful and well furnished, we would not recommend it to anyone.

Lovely barn with everything we needed for our stay. We had a problem with the washing machine while there but the owners were really helpful and did washing for us. Easy to visit lots of places and supermarkets were only 15 minutes away. Would certainly stay here again in the future and recommend to friends.

Great location, very peaceful and comfortable. Trail walks right on the doorstep with lovely views and ideal for the dog. Pubs in the local village and Tavistock only a short distance in the car. Also, really easy to get to beaches, an ideal location to explore Devon & Cornwall.

The only reason i couldnt give it a 10 was the small leak seaping through the roof in the living area, over all it was exactly what we needed if this place ever goes up for long term rent make sure im the first to know ! Seriously value for money is just incredible

Feel very lucky to have been to Tamar Barn. Owners are great, location is great especially if you have a dog as it's on your doorstep. Tamar trails are outside the front door, coast easily accessible and a family holiday not to be missed. Planning to book up again

The drive entrance needs some attention, a sign would of helped and very hard to find in the dark. Nice accommodation, comfortable bed, nice warm kitchen but living room was very chilly, yes, it's got underfloor heating but that took ages to heat up, yes, it's got a log burner but if you come in later in the evening it wasn't worth burning fuel. The water system for showers took ages to get hot as did the hot water. Please accept our constructive criticism as positive way forward. Overall nice barn and thank you for letting us stay there Kath & Dave
