It was good to be away from all the bank holiday people. Very quiet place. Friendly, helpful host and a lovely cosy cottage. Kitchen is well equipped and the picnic table in the back yard was excellent for meals as the weather was exceptionally warm for April.

I chose this cottage because I have a dog and the brochure stated that it had an enclosed garden .What it failed to say was that it was inaccessible - to me !! It was up a steep flight of 16 steps and then there was a path which took you to the side of the cottage and was further uphill .The garden was actually higher than the 2 storey cottage - not at the back door as I expected . Also directions said take first right on A470 after caravan park - it was actually the second right which I found out after i had gone up a very very narrow steep climb before realising directions were wrong .We dont all have sat nav . Glenda couldnt have been more helpful

While the landlady tried to make our stay comfortable by giving us a few extra hours to checkout for free, the cottage itself is very dated. The living room was tiny for 6 of us so not all of us fit into it comfortably and the furnishings were very old and needed sprucing up. The group had to be broken up. The kitchen wasn’t very convenient to use with the cutlery drawer brushing against the washing machine. The cupboards weren’t clean. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable but blankets/duvet were small for tall people. Additional Blankets were provided. We knew of this but one bathroom for 2 families was a squeeze. The place smelt too.
