    A wonderful setting - lovely cottage, fantastic entertainment for kids with pool, play area and football pitch. It’s quite remote (the only reason I put 8 for local amenities) but that was a plus for us in many ways and there are good local pubs and small shops within a short drive. Although “amenities” might be a distance away, the setting is quite central for many Dales attractions (eg Malham Cove, Ingleton Falls, Stump Cross Caverns) and if you want to get away from busy life in a place where you can still be comfortable and entertained, this is ideal. Contrary to some earlier reviews, the WiFi reception was great too - absolutely no connection issues all week.
