There are interesting independent shops food shops and pubs cafés and restaurants all within walking distance. This is a really convenient spot and in a great location for exploring a much wider region of Cornwall. Less than 20 minutes drive from Wadebridge and 13 miles to the fabulous seaside village of Rock on the north coast. Beach 14 miles.     This is a sweet little place tucked away in a back street of Bodmin. The problem is, the 'on street parking' the owner promises is available is on Fore Street, a local shopping street and is only for an hour, except overnight. I parked in one of the local car parks, but that meant a five minute walk to unload the car. The only door into the property is down a little alleyway, and the door itself is unlit, which made opening the key safe on a dark evening very difficult.

    Had a fabulous time. The parking wasn’t great but can’t be helped. The owners also mentioned that they are looking into it for future.

    Great place to stay small but well equipped. Parking was the only problem which stressed my partner a bit. But still a Great holiday

    Very good general accommodation. However difficult stairway for anyone less able than ourselves and small shower room and toilet facilities. Overnight parking away from property. We had a very enjoyable week.

    The Annexe is well equipped and maintained. The fire in the lounge takes a few attempts to light. Only negative was parking in local car park which is FOC from 4pm until 9am. Bodmin is a great base with easy access to other towns however has no holiday atmosphere. The friendly owner recommended some lovely places to visit.
