Fantastic location for everything we could need, including spending days out with our dogs. The cottage was cute and cosy and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and go back!

Spent a very enjoyable week at The Bailey. It was well presented and comfortable and within 3-4 minutes walk of the town centre. Mark, the owner, took a genuine interest in us and we would have no hesitation in recommending it.

The Bailey is ideally situated in Skipton, literally a few minutes walk from the town centre. The cottage itself had everything that we could have wished for. Mark, the owner, could not have been more helpful. My advice would be,if you’re looking for a perfect place to stay, look no further.

We were given a warm welcome and a great welcome pack. The Studio was a cosy base for visiting some of the most amazing scenery in the UK. Just a short walk into the centre of town, the castle and Skipton woods. Mark was most helpful with suggestions of places to visit and the best routes to take advantage of the fabulous views.

Close to the centre of Skipton, but with views and the feel of being on the edge of the countryside, The Bailey is a very comfortable, characterful, well-equipped and practical holiday cottage for a couple

We could not wish for a better holiday than staying at this cottage. We have been back twice and have already booked for next year. The Cottage itself is small enough to be cosy but big enough to shut the door and curtains and forget about the world. You have Skipton castle just outside the window, a very special town just past your doorstep with great road and rail links to some of the nicest places in the country. Here we find we can either use it as a base to go on longer trips (this time we went to Beamish museum and its a lovely 1 hour drive to the Lake District) or you can stay in town and enjoy not going far. You could not ask for better hosts, and you have on site parking. The only problem we have with the Bailey is that we don't really want to go anywhere else on holiday! There are other places we would like to see but they have a long way to go to be as nice as this one and its hosts.

Great little cottage. Very clean & welcoming. Only few minutes from town centre & nicely situated to visit Malham, Ilkley, Haworth & Bolton Abbey. There are some lovely little extra touches in cottage which make a big difference. Owners are available to call upon offering any help with directions or suggestions on where to visit if necessary. One of the best holidays we've had & was reluctant to leave - will definitely return!
