The owners were very welcoming and helpful and The Bothy is perfect for a Highland getaway for a couple. Being situated on the shore of a loch with private access made it extra special. The welcome of the owners and the thoughtfulness i.e. milk and bread in the fridge are the things that matter to me. Would definitely go back to The Bothy.

Clean and comfortable accommodation with all amenities necessary for your stay. Positioned in the yard of the farm with animals all around and the loch shore a two minutes stroll away. The Bothy gives you everything you need for a quiet and relaxing stay. It also makes an excellent base for touring the area; we made it to Mull and Skye as well as extensively exploring the local area. The owners are very helpful and friendly and make sure everything is as you want it but also leave you to get on with your holiday; a perfect combination really. We would thoroughly recommend The Bothy. In fact we will be booking again for next year.

Lovely quiet spot on the shore of the loch, within half an hour of Oban and Fort William, and 20 minutes from Glencoe. The cozy and comfortable bothy overlooks a small farm yard where chickens and rabbits wander freely. The friendly hosts-Alison and Ross- are a great couple who are willing to do anything for you and eager to ensure that everything is well.

Can't recommend this cottage highly enough. Wonderful place, run by wonderful people and myself and my partner had a fantastic time! We were lucky to have the weather on our side too and got to see some glorious views along the west coast of Scotland.

The Bothy was the perfect destination for us and made our first visit to Scotland the experience that we sought. The accommodation was cosy and very comfortable. The small farmyard to the front of the property provided great interest with new born lambs and a calf amongst other animals. The private beach/foreshore behind the bothy was but a stone throw away and provided the most stunning views across the loch to the hills and mountains beyond. Our hosts, Alison and Ross, were attentive and very welcoming, being willing to chat about their home and lives in this idyllic setting.

Just back, what a wonderful week. Arrived on time, met the welcoming owners, was having a glass of wine with the waves lapping the lochshore 30mins later...quiet, peaceful bliss. Good location for exploring the west coast, wonderful (okay breathtaking) views. The Bothy itself is perfectly sized for two. Relax in the bath with the window open and listen to the migrating geese/oystercatchers/curlews-we took music for the bath, didn't even get a cd out of the box. Pedro the Lama and Randy the Ram outside are very friendly neighbours! Thanks for a lovely stay, sorry to sound so positive as we'd love the place to ourselves, but one has to be honest. Beautiful stay, simply beautiful. Thanks Alison, Ross and Christine!
