Forming part of an idyllic complex of five other holiday cottages, the accommodation within The Bothy is immaculately presented throughout. The open plan lounge area leads to a well equipped dining kitchen where large windows drink in the amazing far reaching countryside views. A door leads to a private patio, an idyllic spot to dine alfresco and watch the sun sink. Every effort has been made to ensure these delightful cottages offer eco friendly accommodation. Dogs are particularly welcome to The Bothy; a wild grass meadow has been designed with your pet in mind. Enjoy a morning scamper through the field opposite The Bothy or an evening stroll and listen to the call of the curlew soaring high above. The Bothy boasts an elevated position in the very heart of Hadrian’s Wall Country, set within England’s largest Heritage site - the most northerly of National Parks. Vindolanda is close by and Thirlwell Castle, a quarry wildlife park, The Roman Army Museum and Walltown Craggs - the highest remaining section of Hadrian’s Wall - are all interesting visitor attractions within easy reach of The Bothy.
