    Bedroom 2: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request).
    Bedroom 3: With twin beds.
    Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.

    Underfloor gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack.

    Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.

    This spacious cottage is situated in the popular town of Gatehouse of Fleet and is a perfect retreat from which to explore the Solway Coast with its many sandy beaches and rocky coves. Only a minutes walk from the town centre with shops, cafés and restaurants. The town also boasts The Mill on The Fleet, an exhibition of historical arts and skills. There is great walking throughout the area with the Galloway Forest Park having marked cycle paths and walks, bird and wildlife to enjoy. Also available throughout the area is fishing, golfing and watersports. Kirkcudbright the ’Artists Town’, offers many art and craft shops and Castle Douglas, Scotland’s food town with many specialist shops are both close by. Cardoness Castle and the local Cally Gardens with an unusual variety of plants are well worth a visit. Cream o’ Galloway for adventure playgrounds, family entertainment and of course, ice cream is within easy reach. Beach 2½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

    Was disappointed with where the Bungalow is situated on an grey housing estate. However the Bungalow itself is fantastic, extremely clean, well decorated looks new. Underfloor heating great and the log burner wonderful.

    Loved this bungalow - second visit so recommended. Superb garden/grounds/parking for several cars. Comfortable beds & excellent showers, utility room with washer & 'home from home' kitchen. Great location close to town centre with small selection of nice shops, cafes & pubs/eateries. Unfortunately, due to decline in mobility we will be unable to return as sofas too low & no grab rails in bathrooms.

    Lovely, peaceful village, nice cafe, gift shop and local shops to get essentials. Also, the Bank of Fleet hotel was lovely food,huge portions, dog friendly.

    Lovely large modernised bungalow, very clean and tidy. Great enclosed back garden for our dog who enjoyed running up and down on the grass. All the furniture and fittings are brand new and of decent quality. A few minor issues were the provision of a winter duvet in a very warm summer making sleeping a little uncomfortable. Towel rails would be more beneficial than a hook making the towels difficult to dry.

    The Bungalow is a very comfortable and well equipped holiday home. The rear garden was thoroughly enjoyed by our dog during the good weather. There was also plenty local walks to exercise the dog. The cottage is well positioned to explore the wider area, while providing a quiet base to return to.

    There were 4 adults and 2 dogs at the Bungalow and I can honestly say that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Newly refurbished only 2 years ago the quality of the rooms and the amenities were first class. There was plenty of room for us all and a lovely large totally enclosed garden for the dogs. Very quiet area and laid back atmosphere but not too far from beach, restaurants and other interesting places. Would highly recommend this property and we are looking forward to returning again ourselves next year

    Fabulous cottage - clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Very quiet, so a good night’s sleep is guaranteed. The underfloor heating provides consistent warmth and there is also a wood burner for colder times of the year. The large fenced lawn is perfect and safe for dogs or children to run around and it has off road parking. Conveniently situated a few minutes walk from pubs and hotels serving food and local shops. Gatehouse is in a beautiful scenic area, close to the coast and Galloway hills, with many lovely walks and plenty of wildlife to see. There are numerous historical sites nearby and interesting towns to visit. Although we are regular visitors to Gatehouse, this was our first stay at the Bungalow. We definitely plan to return.

    Super cottage which was very well equipped. The four of us were delighted at the high standard of accommodation which was in close proximity to the local town. The weather was unusually warm for the time of year making our holiday in Dumfries and Galloway really special for us all. I don’t think there is much doubt that we will be back!

    Excellent holiday cottage, furnished and fitted out to a very high standard. Huge pet friendly garden. Great bathrooms, utility room, kitchen, FreeSat, lots of parking space . 5-10 minutes walk to shops , tea rooms and pubs.

    We had a fabulous time in this amazing bungalow. It had everything we needed & of a high spec... love the sliding doors. A lovely, friendly little town with everything you could need. Our two young rescue dogs absolutely loved the garden & all of the wonderful walks straight from the door. The pubs are dog friendly too! We basically can't wait to return next year. Huge thanks to the lovely owners who made sure everything was okay & a much appreciated welcome pack.
