Ideal for walkers
We had a lovely visit to the calf shed. It's cosey and the owners are lovely, having milk, tea, coffee and biscuits for our arrival. The only complaint I have is that even though it is meant for two people the downstairs space could be laid out better. As people who like to walk when coming back there is only a very small two seater sofa and a rub chair. Not the the most comfy for costing up after a long walk. The cooker is very slow, we chose to cook two nights of our three. The bed was very comfy and the shower was hot and power was fine. Also extra things where on hand like towels and toilet rolls. Lovely area to explore and we would stay again. We didn't use the hot tub as it was a bit fresh and my partner felt a little overlooked to relax.
Our second stay at the calf shed. Just as enjoyable as the first.

very nice cottage a bit out of the way.phoned a taxi to take me into town and was told it wasn't financially viable so if you want a drink take a carry out with you.the owners were very pleasant and welcoming.
The hosts were very welcoming and the cottage was lovely. I went alone with my dog and I felt very safe.
Absolutely stunning little cottage, perfect for 2!!!great value for money and stunning location,we loved it that much we stayed on for another 2 nights!!.The hot tub was lovely and a great touch that you had a sheltered area where you could leave your towels.
We shall be booking this again,,,i can't recommend this cottage enough,we loved it!!!.
Fabulous location for us. Perfect little cottage for a base for walking as we do!
Very well equipped apart from no oven gloves and the range of drinking glasses was very limited.
Only minor issues though to a perfect week and I’m sure we’ll be booking again.
