Overall a good holiday, but travelling to and fro was bedevilled by road closures due to installation of Super Broadband; clearly this had nothing to do with cottage! Plenty of good places to visit nearby and a lovely peaceful country location.

The cottage is very lovely, but not much privacy from bedrooms to lounge. Freezer was mouldy inside and general cleanliness not amazing. Felt a bit misled with regards to hot tub, not for the cottage but shared between three properties.

This was our 3rd visit to The Carpenters Shop. We had a great time as we love the quiet location and the individuality of the accommodation. The owner couldn't have been more helpful - if he's needed - but essentially he makes it clear that it's 'our home' to enjoy for a week or two and we're seriously considering going back again next year. There are no 'local amenities' in Dallinghoo, not even a pub, but Wickham Market is about 3 miles away has a large Co-Op and nearby towns like Woodbridge are great for shopping and to visit. We like to get away from noise and crowds on holiday and this ticks all our boxes. Our dog loves staying at The Carpenters Shop and if she was choosing our holiday destination we'd definitely be back next year.
