Surrounded by miles of unspoilt countryside, there are numerous footpaths that pass through the village and lead through fabulous scenery towards the surrounding villages and towns. The Cotswolds is renowned for its beauty, and this is the perfect location to enjoy the local area. There are many opportunities to enjoy a leisurely stroll, energetic ramble, or pleasant bike ride through the countryside. Sailing, water-skiing, riding, golf, trout, and coarse fishing are all available locally both in Lechlade and The Cotswold Water Park.
Nearby in Coln St Aldwyns you will find a village shop and pub. The characterful market towns of both Lechlade and Fairford are close by, with many quintessential Cotswold villages to explore including Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold, and plenty of sporting activities to indulge in including water sports, boating on the Thames, fishing, golf, walking and horse riding.
