The ancient market town of Tenbury is set on the River Teme and was affectionately referred to by Queen Victoria as ’the town in the orchard’. It provides a range of interesting shops cafes and pubs whilst Ludlow with its fine eateries and restaurants is only a short drive away. For walkers Titterstone Clee Hill offers spectacular views from its summits or if you prefer a more leisurely stroll there are plenty of country walks through the Teme Valley renowned for its growing of hops and cider apples. Really good centre for visiting local area and National Trust houses. A really comfortable, quiet base but still within walking distance of town.

Lovely cottage with lovely flowers ,cakes and bread on arrival. Very welcoming host short walk to Tenbury. Lovely area to tour. What's not to like. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage in a great location. You can easily walk into Tenbury Wells. Nice cupcakes and fresh bread plus coffee and tea plus fresh milk and lovely flowers made us feel very welcome on our arrival. The cottage was exceptionally clean. The Pembroke House pub/restaurant is really good and so close. The cottage sleeps 3 but there are two big lounges and a large dining area. The kitchen is OK but very narrow and could be better equipped. We were very lucky with the weather and there is a nice area to sit outside. The bedrooms are nice and cosy and comfortable but the main downside for us was the bathroom which is really small and the shower over the bath is not very practical. The bathroom looks very nice - lovely bath and nicely tiled but not very good for having a shower. There is a second downstairs toilet and a sink in the main bedroom which are useful.

We had a lovely break, with plenty of walking and National Trust visits.

We had a fantastic stay here, The owner was very welcoming on our arrival and went out of her way to make us feel at home. The cottage is charming and exactly what we expected and more. Everything you need is close by within walking distance, including a few pubs, what more could you want?
