Lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable, set in beautiful well kept grounds. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, nothing is too much for them. The location is perfect, quiet and surrounded by wild places but local amenities only a short distance away. We had a superb stay at the Coach House.

My husband and I spent a very comfortable week in the Coach House. It had everything that we needed for cooking and relaxing. It was great to have a washing machine-hikes in Scotland can be muddy! The tiny 9 hole pitch and putt golf course on the property was a surprise bonus and unlike anything we have ever seen.

We found the Coach House an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Cairngorms, conveniently located within easy reach of Grantown-on-Spey and Aviemore. Plenty of parking space is available, and the phone/internet signal was good. Eric & Ian were friendly and helpful hosts with an abundance of local knowledge. The apartment was comfortable, cosy and well-equipped, with a great bath and shower to enjoy after long walks! Nature/outdoor lovers will be in their element here - there are lovely views from every window, a wonderful garden with lots of wildlife (we saw red squirrels, a common lizard and wide variety of birds) and even a private pitch & putt course! The garden leads directly into acres of glorious, secluded woodland; perfect for dog walking, where we heard deer and briefly glimpsed one! There are so many things to see and do in the area, a week just wasn’t enough! Hope to visit again soon.

Perfect location from which to explore Speyside . Ian and Eric had thought of everything to enhance our stay and were very helpful with local knowledge of walks and restaurants. Directions to find Auchendene need updating as there is no longer a large brown sign off the A95 as mentioned in the instructions. Thank you for a wonderful week
