A little gem of a cottage. It was very clean, warm, quiet and well equipped. The garden is very pretty and completely enclosed so perfect for our dog. There were lots of little extras both for us and our dog.

It is just like a home from home. You don't want bother when you arrive, after your journey and there is no need as there is milk, bread, spread, tea, coffee and biscuits. And of course most importantly treats for the dogs. The location is very quiet with an enclosed garden. The proximity to Cupar provides every facility required in a five minute trip by car. Cupar is a bustling little market town. The coast is a 20 minute drive through stunning countryside. Eateries are as much as you want to pay, all in easy reach. Dog walks are everywhere, long or short. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely owners. A walk along the St Andrew's beautiful West Sands beach and you will be sold.

Thoroughly enjoyable week at The Cottage. It’s ideally situated: set in a small quiet village yet an easy drive to local amenities or to explore the delights of Fife. The Cottage itself suited us well. It’s spacious inside with a calm, neutral decor and furnishings with a high standard of cleanliness & attention to detail. Everything you could possibly need is provided yet presented in an uncluttered way. Thought had been given to visitors’ needs and space allowed for their belongings eg the kitchen had empty cupboards for food storage. (May seem a strange thing to say but so many other cottages cram their kitchen full so there is no spare room for anything!) We were blessed with Mediterranean weather so we spent many hours relaxing in the pretty garden, which is totally secure for dogs. Lots of suitable walks for them locally, so they had a great week too. Delightful owners who go the extra mile to ensure visitors enjoy their stay. We also appreciated the treats left for us (& dogs!) on arrival.

This was our second visit to "The Cottage" and once again we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Just what the doctor ordered after the long winter spell. We will certainly be back, but this time we will probably be looking at sometime in the summer months.

Excellent cottage and value for money. The owner was very helpful and had provided an extensive guide to the cottage, local amenities and walks. The property welcomed dogs and a pack was left for the dog on arrival. The only minor criticism was the table in the kitchen which was rather small but it would be difficult to extend. The kitchen was well equipped and had a functional layout. The owner messged us the day we left wishing us good journey home and hoping we had had a good holiday. A nice touch!

A very clean well looked after cottage with lovely enclosed garden for our 2 dogs. We tend to visit 6 to 8 cottages per year so we are very aware of what we are looking for and certainly The Cottage ticks all the boxes. We look forward greatly to returning next year.

We had a very comfortable stay in The Cottage despite 'Storm Ali' doing its best to spoil it by causing all the electricity in the village to fail over a period of 8 hours due to the very high winds. The experience in fact added to our sense of adventure once darkness descended and we lit the candles. The owner had stocked the cottage with everything one could think of plus little extras that made all the difference to our comfort.
