Perched on the hillside within a 300-acre Scottish Highland estate is The Cottage. This traditional detached stone cottage enjoys panoramic views across to the picturesque harbour and hills beyond. It has been thoughtfully arranged so that the main living area is on the first floor, making the most of the views. It runs the whole length of the cottage and has a warm and welcoming wood burner and deep leather sofas providing a very good level of comfort. The large sofa bed converts to a double bed. On the ground floor is a beautifully presented double bedroom with super kingsize bed which can be converted to twin beds if required.
The estate is accessed via a short lane off the spectacular route known as the ’North Coast 500’ in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The jetty and natural harbour provide a beautiful and picturesque setting to this attractive and historic estate. The surrounding area is a haven for wildlife. Deer, otters, eagles and a wide variety of bird life are regularly seen in the region, and seals are known to frequent the harbour. For outdoor enthusiasts the local area is second to none. Kayaking, sailing, fishing, hill-walking, scuba-diving, bird watching and golf are all available right on the doorstep. The nearest beach, just a short stroll from the house is outstanding; a perfect crescent of white sand bounded by rocks and hills. Beach 200 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles. The Cottage can be booked together with The Fish House (UKC1398) and The Byre (UKC1399) to accommodate up to 16 guests.
