The Dog House, as the name suggests, is a particularly pet friendly accommodation, located on the outer edge of Whaley Bridge, towards the picturesque village of Fernilee. Set on a quiet road, next door to the friendly owners home, yet within easy reach of the town centre, this terraced cottage is perfect for a couple or a small family, and of course, their four-legged friends. The ground floor is open plan from which you can access an enclosed garden, able to contain both children and pets, meaning you can truly relax. Moving to the first floor, you will find a double bed with en-suite bathroom facilities and French doors opening onto a small balcony which boasts views over to Taxal Edge Moor. Further stairs accessed through the bedroom take you to the second floor with twin beds for children and a vaulted ceiling with limited headroom.

The train station is also close by and has frequent direct rail links into the city of Manchester or the spa town of Buxton. The Dog House really is a fantastic bolt-hole to enjoy the Peak District National Park, with the versatility of the location making for a great stay for whatever the season.
