fabulous house and gardens, plus stunning inside the house, just like a National Trust mansion. But a bit isolated.

The East Wing and Eslington Park as a whole are a wonderful setting in which to spend a restful week. This is a luxurious and beautiful place where you can enjoy the space and generosity of this gracious property. The facilities were great and host is helpful and friendly. The East Wing has plenty of personal touches which feel like you're staying in a warm and well appointed home. The wi-fi is confined to one room and internet speed may be slower than you're used to. But there are plenty of books, and a grand piano so enjoy a digitial de-tox and listen to the bird song, music or hourly chimes of the stable clock. Loads to do locally with Alnwick, Cragside, Dunstanborough and Bamburgh close by. We'll be back.

This is our 3rd visit to this outstanding property. We cannot fault it in any way. It is complete luxury. Any group of friends or family who like to self cater, this is the perfect place. No telephone reception and Wifi limited to one room - BLISS! We will definately be back.

Spent a long weekend in late October with the extended family intending to spend all of the time in the East Wing rather than exploring the area. The East Wing is a fabulous building and the grounds are well kept and beautiful. Had a good time, once the downstairs heating was sorted and the open fire lit. Couple of minor disappointments were the very poor wifi, (didn't work downstairs and the upstairs was limited to the TV room where the router was located), which was made more frustrating by the fact that mobile reception in the East Wing is poor, (which can't be helped); and the downstairs TV had an irritating habit of freezing for a couple of seconds on a frequent basis.
