We thoroughly enjoyed our short break in this stunningly beautiful little town. Our cottage was nothing short of spectacular, the views of the Tyne flowing swiftly under the bridge just yards from our windows will remain with me forever. The property owners are on site and Dave quickly welcomed us soon after our arrival. Friendly and reassuring, we didn’t need him once, the cottage was just perfect. Thank you.

The garden room was a lovely little place ideally located in the village. The views from the property were stunning and I can imagine in the summer its lovely to take advantage of the outside space. Unfortunately there was some renovation work being carried out upstairs during our stay, to at times was quite noisy. If we were to book again I would enquire about this.

The Garden Rooms have all you would need for comfortable stay. It has a charm about it and the conservatory is a delight. As is the very nicely kept garden overlooking the river. The one downside is the parking which is either a free car park approx 250 yards over the bridge or a disc which the owner gives to you for disc parking anytime in the village. If you have a problem with a few steps bear in mind it's the only way into the Garden Rooms from the road. Having said that it's well worth then effort.

Beautiful, quiet apartment in a lovely setting - clean, well equipped and absolutely stunning. We spent two nights in this lovely location with the property being a credit to its helpful owners, Dave and Noreen. Cannot fault it and will be back at some point to enjoy the tranquility and cosiness of its surroundings again.
