Z bed for child available on request. \n Elec coal-effect fire in living room inc. Oil CH elec bed linen towels and Wi-Fi inc. Cot. Hchair. Two Freeview TV’s. Two DVD’s. CD. Mwave. Washerdryer. Dwasher. Enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. Parking 2 cars. No smoking.\n \nIn a hamlet overlooking the picturesque Tyne Valley this tastefully converted detached granary provides spacious holiday accommodation with fabulous open views. Corbridge is a pretty small town on the River Tyne and all the delights of historic Hexham including abbey museum and the racecourses are only a 10-minute drive away. The Hadrian’s Wall Walk is nearby with the Northumberland National Park and the Pennine Way just half an hour’s journey. For shopaholics the Metro Centre is about 30 miles to the east whilst the glorious Northumberland beaches are an easy day trip.     We had a lovely stay. The cottage was well appointed, spacious and comfortable with incredible views. Nice to stay in a cottage where there were not signs telling you what you shouldn't do. Having the pub next door was a plus, and no excessive noise either. The cottage itself could probably do with a bit of deep clean but we were staying at season end and didn't feel it was too bad. Everything we needed was there. Its a little way from local shops and you need the car to get there. Recommend We North Acomb Farm Shop which is just off the A69, fantastic home produced produce. There's lots to do and see in the local area and its a very dog friendly area. We have a springer spaniel and he was made welcome almost everywhere. There is a lovely beach at Seaton Sluice which is only a few miles drive. We will be staying at this cottage again.

    Had a fantastic stay at The Granary Cottage. Very dog friendly with great enclosed garden. Facilities excellent and quiet, foody pub literally next door. Location perfect for Northumberland forest and coast, as well as Durham, Newcastle etc. Just off A69. Spectacular view across open countryside especially from bedroom window. Bathrooms and kitchen slightly dated but all appliances of good quality and work well. Open plan lounge really worked for us.

    friendly people. great food in pub next door. good sized and safe garden. lovely house, especially the bedroom upstairs. the shower was amazing. the bed/mattress was poor though and every day we woke with a sore back. the place actually wasnt as clean as it at first looked. anywhere hidden had a lot of dust. the only real disappointment and inconvenience was no wifi. the local farmshop is excellent but still a car drive away. there is no shop of any sort in the village. corbridge is lovely.
