Please note There are ponds and a stream in the grounds and a natural water supply from borehole. \n \nThe Granary is a detached 200 year old barn conversion has underfloor heating beams spacious bedrooms and a south facing garden with a private hot tub. There is also a table and chairs which is perfect for al fresco dining. It is situated on the owners’ 200-acre working dairy and beef farm and the owners are happy to show children around. The farm is surrounded by numerous public footpaths extending through the farm and beyond along fields and tracks. The location is perfect for days at the beach being 40-minutes from the north and south coastline. North Devon has a choice of unspoilt sandy beaches for surfers and water sports and the south coast offers more varied attractions such as mackerel fishing and cream teas.\n\nThis is a peaceful location but only 2 miles from Tiverton where you will find many independent shops cafés and restaurants. There are so many places to visit including Exmoor an ½-hour drive and Dartmoor a 45 minute drive. For a great family day out visit Diggerland or Crealy. The Blackdown Hills and many National Trust properties are all within a short drive including Heathcote Killerton and Coldharbour Steam Mill. Tiverton Canal home to one of the last horse-drawn barges in the UK and located in mid Devon on the banks of the Grand Western Canal is a tourist attraction that offers an enjoyable family day out. The Grand Western Canal is a local nature reserve and is teeming with wildlife and things to do and see. With free access to the canal all year round walkers cyclists anglers and boat enthusiasts can enjoy 11 miles of quiet and unspoilt waterway which will lead you through Devon’s beautiful countryside.\nThere is a wealth of other great walks on the Quantock Hills Exmoor and the Devon and Somerset legs of the South West Coastal Path. In addition there is the beautiful walk around Wimbleball Lake with its wildlife trail.     Beautiful building in stunning location. Our hosts were very welcoming and our dog loved playing with the farm's own dogs! We didn't want to leave.

    Absolutely fantastic holiday at The Granary. The accommodation was really comfortable, spacious and so well thought out. We loved the stunning views from the hot tub and the garden. The owners were so lovely and we adored their dogs. Great location with lots to do nearby. 100% recommend the Granary and we can't wait to go back.

    Local amenities are about two away in Tiverton. Enjoyed the dogs company also lucky to see the house martins.

    Beautiful cottage, fabulous views, hosts were lovely and very accommodating, the track getting to the cottage is very beaten so difficult for some lower cars but all in all a lovely location, will certainly return

    Had a lovely stay for 4 women 2 nights away without our children for the first time. Just what we All needed a quite peaceful break . The only thing that was unkind to us was the weather, this Cannot be helped but encouraged us to stay in . We however would have liked to have explored more . Steve and his wife very hospitable. Would definitely go back.

    Loved our time here. It was the perfect location to us as it was close to where I was working. Family friendly and we loved the hot tub! The cottage had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here if visiting Devon in future.

    We absolutely loved this cottage & the sparkling hot tub was a welcome bonus. Steve & Selina are very friendly and they have 7 wonderful dogs. Our dog Cookie especially loved Rosie & Roxie! We were greeted by Steve & a lovely Devon cream tea thank you very much. The location is very rural but there is plenty close by & lots of great walks that we enjoyed.

    We had a fantastic break at The Granary. Steve and Sale ha were really friendly and welcoming and on The last night took our 3 boys up on the quad bike to feed the cows. Their 7 dogs welcomed us to the farm every time we came back from anywhere. Our kids had a great time playing in the garden, usually joined by Rosie the super friendly Collie. The hot tub was a nice bonus. The underfloor heating was a big plus as the nights were chilly. Overall a fantastic cottage located on a really nice farm which we will definitely be visiting again.
