Please note There are ponds and a stream in the grounds and a natural water supply from borehole. \n \nThe Granary is a detached 200 year old barn conversion has underfloor heating beams spacious bedrooms and a south facing garden with a private hot tub. There is also a table and chairs which is perfect for al fresco dining. It is situated on the owners’ 200-acre working dairy and beef farm and the owners are happy to show children around. The farm is surrounded by numerous public footpaths extending through the farm and beyond along fields and tracks. The location is perfect for days at the beach being 40-minutes from the north and south coastline. North Devon has a choice of unspoilt sandy beaches for surfers and water sports and the south coast offers more varied attractions such as mackerel fishing and cream teas.\n\nThis is a peaceful location but only 2 miles from Tiverton where you will find many independent shops cafés and restaurants. There are so many places to visit including Exmoor an ½-hour drive and Dartmoor a 45 minute drive. For a great family day out visit Diggerland or Crealy. The Blackdown Hills and many National Trust properties are all within a short drive including Heathcote Killerton and Coldharbour Steam Mill. Tiverton Canal home to one of the last horse-drawn barges in the UK and located in mid Devon on the banks of the Grand Western Canal is a tourist attraction that offers an enjoyable family day out. The Grand Western Canal is a local nature reserve and is teeming with wildlife and things to do and see. With free access to the canal all year round walkers cyclists anglers and boat enthusiasts can enjoy 11 miles of quiet and unspoilt waterway which will lead you through Devon’s beautiful countryside.\nThere is a wealth of other great walks on the Quantock Hills Exmoor and the Devon and Somerset legs of the South West Coastal Path. In addition there is the beautiful walk around Wimbleball Lake with its wildlife trail.     Lovely hosts and location, I'd a little over priced. For that cost I would like all remote controls to work and better equipped kitchen (glass wine glasses), not sure that we paid normal prices due to covid. Rosie was lovely and the welcome was great.

    Lovely comfortable stay. My son loved the dogs especially Rosie the sheepdog. He played with her for hours and she came with us on our walks and runs. Selena and Steve were lovely hosts and couldn't do enough for you. My children loved the hot tub. The only down side was there was no mobile network and poor internet service because it was so rural. I would highly recommend this holiday.

    Very enjoyable comfortable stay in a lovely cottage with a fantastic hot tub. Owners very friendly and gave us a bottle of wine for my partner's birthday. Very friendly dogs especially the character Rosie. Close to Tiverton town centre and short drive to Exeter. Lovely stay and would return.

    The cottage was perfect and in a beautiful setting just a bit far out for us as we rang to book taxis and waited over an hour each day. The owners including the dogs  were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The cottage had every think we needed for a chilled nite in with a few drinks and a dip in the hot tub. Would defo return but not plan as many outings.

    Beautiful building in stunning location. Our hosts were very welcoming and our dog loved playing with the farm's own dogs! We didn't want to leave.

    Absolutely fantastic holiday at The Granary. The accommodation was really comfortable, spacious and so well thought out. We loved the stunning views from the hot tub and the garden. The owners were so lovely and we adored their dogs. Great location with lots to do nearby. 100% recommend the Granary and we can't wait to go back.
