    We are a family of 6 adults, 4 children and spent the week from 15-19th April. The cottage is very spacious and having the secure garden was great for our dog who loved watching the horses and Nobby the ostrich. Lots to see and do around the local area. We will be looking to come again next year.

    A wonderful place for a nice family gathering. Open plan lounge and kitchen makes it very sociable. The bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Ground floor bedrooms as well as upstairs. Well equipped with everything you need. Very quiet and beautiful location with lovely views and horses, wildlife and Nobby the Ostrich to see. Well placed to easily drive within 10 to 20 minutes to Beer, Seaton and Lyme Regis. A friendly welcome we would certainly recommend and return.

    The house is a very good size for 10 to 12 guests, and is kept very clean, tidy and well cared for. It is a little dated in a couple of respects (bathrooms and kitchen) but otherwise can't really be faulted. Lots of comfortable seating/sofas. Very generous dining area. Great log burner. And the beds are very comfortable. The linen etc is first class, and the owner is a super chap who'll do his best to make your stay very enjoyable. It is on a working farm, so expect the odd tractor passing the window - but its quiet, with stunning countryside views, and Seaton, Beer and other places are but a few miles away. Loved it and would come back in a flash. Thanks to the owners.

    The granary was a perfect venue for our family to meet for a weekend. En-suites in all but one of the bedrooms were a bonus. We were blessed with perfect weather so enjoyed sitting in the small garden enjoying the lovely view while the younger members of the party went to visit Nobby the ostrich, who was a huge hit. The lovely town of Seaton and the Donkey Sanctuary are both within easy distance. The cottage was well equipped with just a couple of tiny niggles which were discussed with the owner and I'm sure will be sorted. We have 3 dogs and were able to bring them all, by arrangement, so that made our family gathering complete. Thank you, we had a lovely time.
