> This beautiful, adjoining barn conversion, one of a cluster of five holiday cottages and part of Westmoore Farm, sits in a secluded valley, deep in the heart of the South Hams. This 16th-century, Grade II listed site is home to a family-run working livestock farm, set around a paved and lawned courtyard amid 30 acres of rolling Devon countryside. There are so many things to do close to the property, including beaches in the South Hams, like Bigbury-on-sea, take a walk over the beach when the tides out and visit the island and have a pint or food in the local pub. Mothercombe and other beaches are also worth a visit. Dartmouth has some amazing shops to visit and a castle which stands in pride of place on the mouth of the river. The property is close to many National Trust properties, including Greenway, the summer home of Agatha Christie. Dartmoor National Park is also close by, see the ponies, hike the Tors or visit one of the many villages with cafes to have a real Devon cream tea. You could even do a spot of letter boxing whilst on Dartmoor. Go Ape and Haldon Forest is also close by, there are many cycle routes at Haldon Forest for plenty of off road cycling. One visit will never be enough to this lovely part of Devon. Shop and pub 2 miles.
