If you want an away from it all holiday with peace and quiet then "The Hay Loft" is for you. You are up a very quiet country lane on the side of a hill, you can see Morecambe Bay in the distance. You have your own private cottage garden to sit in, a real sun trap. There are some lovely walks straight from the door and in the surrounding area. The steps up to the lounge area as mentioned in the properties description are steep so you need to be able bodied. The Blacksmiths Arms,(Booking is advisable) is just a few minutes drive is worth going to, food is very good, although a little expensive for a pub, but well worth it and dog friendly throughout but mined your head on the low beams.

Cosy upside down cottage steps inside are a bit steep but otherwise it's comfy and functional.

We had a lovely week here. If you want fabulous views with peace & quiet, then you'll enjoy staying here. We were blessed with lovely weather & you can see for miles. The night sky was beautiful as there is no light pollution from street lights, even saw shooting stars. The cottage itself is cosy & quirky, thick stone walls & wonky floors & yes the stairs are very steep! If your car is long & low you'll struggle with the parking. The owners live next door & happy to help if you need it.
