A high wrought iron gate leads through to the gardens and this pretty, secluded cottage. Situated close to the centre of Inverness, it offers the best of both worlds – a private cottage close to all amenities. The main living room is attractively presented with colour coordinated soft furnishings and a warm, welcoming wood burner. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and the second with twin beds. Both are beautifully presented, carrying on the hedgehog theme with the cushions and soft furnishings. The bright modern kitchen leads through to a lovely conservatory with dining table, chairs and views over the pretty gardens. With a bathroom and a shower room, this cottage is ideal for couples, a joint couples’ holiday or small families. The garden is a real feature of the property surrounded by walled gardens and wooden fencing so is very secluded. The wrap-around garden is divided into small patios, with picnic table and patio table with chairs, providing ideal spots for alfresco dining.
There are numerous facilities within close proximity. Inverness is renowned for its wonderful choice of restaurants, bars and leisure facilities. There are good restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance of the cottage and the golf course is only a ¼ mile away. The centre of Inverness is 2 miles from the property, where there is a wide variety of facilities and places of interest. Eden Court Theatre offers an excellent programme of drama, music and live performances as well as two cinemas. The city is dominated by the imposing castle that looks down on the River Ness which flows through the centre.
There are wonderful river walks and more restaurants along the riverside. Golf, fishing, kayaking, sailing, mountain biking, hill walking and climbing are all enjoyed in the area. There are numerous places of interest to visit, including Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle and of course the renowned Urquhart Castle on the banks of Loch Ness. Award-winning sandy beaches such as Nairn and Rosemarkie are just 20 minutes’ drive away. Beach 11 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
