    Tucked away behind the owner’s home and enjoying its own private enclosed garden, The Hideaway is ideal for couples looking to explore all that beautiful north Wales has to offer. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the small Flintshire village of Cadole at the foot of the Clwydian Hills, this detached studio offers compact but comfortable self catering accommodation in an area that offers so much to see and do. Whilst there are a couple of pubs within walking distance, a wider range of amenities can be found in the popular market town of Mold, three miles, which is also home to Theatre Clwyd, Wales’ major drama-producing theatre and arts centre. Other local towns worth visiting include Ruthin, eight miles, and Holywell, 11 miles, or why not visit Flint castle, nine miles? Should you wish to venture over the border into England, the historic city of Chester is just 10 miles away and the vibrant city of Liverpool with its many attractions is 26 miles.

    For those who prefer a coastal landscape, the beaches of north Wales are within easy driving distance. Colwyn Bay and Conway are just 20 miles away whilst the charming Victorian seaside town of Llandudno and the stunning Great Orme are just over 30 miles away. Walkers are spoilt for choice in Flintshire, with walks for all ages and abilities from challenging climbs to gentle strolls including the Offa’s Dyke path which passes through the county along the Clwydian Range, an Area of Outstanding National Beauty, which is also great for mountain bikers. Other popular activities in the area include fishing and golf. With so much to see and do, your visit to the Hideaway can be as relaxing or as action packed as you choose.

    It was the perfect place to enjoy quality couple time. The homeowner was very welcoming and made sure all of our needs were met throughout the duration of our stay. We will definitely be looking to stay at The Hideaway again!
