This charming seaside holiday cottage has been carefully renovated to provide modern living, while retaining its original features including beams and a wood burner. Mere metres from the beach and in the heart of the village of Allonby, this cottage will be a hit with adults and children alike, with its famous ice cream, village play area (50 metres away with no roads to cross) and a range of pubs and cafes all only a short stroll away. The unbroken 26 mile long Hadrian’s cycleway between Maryport and Silloth, and the miles and miles of beach make this a great place to get out and explore. Nearby there is also the aquarium, Roman and maritime museums, go karting, climbing cave and wall, and some of the best golf in the country. Set within a conservation area and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Allonby is also perfectly situated for birdwatching along the Solway Estuary, as well as providing some absolutely stunning sunsets. Keswick, 26 miles. Beach 35 yards. Shop 50 yards, pub 75 yards and restaurant 100 yards.
