It lies just a short stroll from shops, restaurants, an indoor swimming pool and the famous Landmark Theatre arts and entertainment complex as well as the picturesque harbour showing Damien Hirst’s statue Verity. The unique Tunnels Beaches provide bathing areas with secluded beaches and pools, accessed through tunnels quarried beneath the cliffs, whilst the pretty cove of Hele Bay is a paradise of rock pools and sandy inlets for that perfect day out. Visitors can enjoy spectacular coastal walking from the door, and both horse riding and golf are available within 1 mile as are boat trips to Lundy Island and pleasure boat and fishing excursions along the dramatic coastline. Magnificent sandy beaches at Woolacombe, 5 miles, and Croyde, and the beautiful, evocative landscape of Exmoor National Park are under 15 minutes’ drive, whilst nearby attractions include Arlington Court National Trust, Watermouth Castle, a wildlife and dinosaur park and flower bedecked Barnstaple’s famous pannier markets.     We had a lovely week at The Leas. The house is very well appointed, there were 6 in our group and we fitted in easily. The location is stunning, beautiful uninterrupted views and walks from your front door. We would certainly recommend it to others.

    The house was ideally situated for us, only a short walk from the amenities of Ilfracombe and a short drive from many large sandy beaches. The house was spacious, welcoming, well equipped and had a beautiful garden.

    Absolutely brilliant holiday, location and house really great. The house was very clean and well equipped. There were 8 in our party and we had more than enough space with 3 children. Enjoyed walks up the coastal paths and to the harbour for dinner. Children loved how close we were to Dino world and Watermouth castle and activities. Would highly recommend this property and will certainly come back again 5*

    The Leas was everything we hoped it would be. Wonderful house with lovely garden. Well equipped with pretty much everything you could possibly need. We had a fabulous time and the weather was really kind to us, every day we were able to eat in the garden. We would definitely go again.

    We’ve just returned from a weeks stay in the leas and were so sad to leave! The house was literally a home away from home it was so well equipped and comfortable, and had the most amazing views ! We went with our 3 young children and apart from a day out at the wildlife park and clovelly we didn’t need to use our car at all as we walked everywhere. I can’t recommend this house enough and can’t wait to book again.
