We had a fantastic time at The Lodge. The house was very well presented and very comfortable. The owners were friendly and extremely thoughtful, providing a welcome pack and ensuring the caretakers left a light on for our late arrival. Everything you could need, and more, were provided. The games room was really handy keeping the teenagers occupied and I loved the main bedroom with a dressing room and en-suite. The garden was private and had plenty of seating/eating/relaxing areas. The Lodge is situated just outside Aberporth, a short drive down to the beach and handy for exploring the local area. The Lodge is the most comfortable holiday home we have stayed in and has given us plenty of wonderful holiday memories. Definitely will recommend The Lodge to family and friends.

A lovely comfortable spacious house, the owners had thought of absolutely everything that we needed for our stay. A very nice welcome pack was really appreciated by us all even the dog! Our children and us really enjoyed the games room and the outdoor garden games in the lovely enclosed rear garden. The owner Pat even very kindly posted back our sons favourite gorilla onesy that we left behind. Would highly recommend a stay at this property ??

Lovely house and very comfortable. Our only problem was that it was so quiet around the area that you had to drive everywhere. But maybe I should have done more research on the area. If you have a dog Poppit Sands is the place to go, Cardigan is also worth a visit. Overall an enjoyable holiday.

Kitchen filthy told owners and they have offered no refund to date! Even sent photos as proof! Could work heating for towel rail. No Cooker hood but boarded with a greasy old board no one would want to cook under! Really dirty kitchen.

Pat and Rob the owners and the caretakers could not have been more helpful. The Welcome pack, honey, jam etc were a lovely touch. The house is equipped with everything you could think of and more and really makes it feel like a real home and not a holiday cottage. We had such a relaxing time! Lovely walks on the beach at Aberporth and New Quay and relaxing in the garden which was beautifully equipped for lazing in the sun and having bbq’s. Our favourite part of the house was the conservatory, full of comfy seats and perfect for stretching out with a good book. A great base for exploring Mid Wales but such a lovely and well equipped home that we spent more time in it than any other holiday cottage we have had before.

Cottage was fantastic, only disappointing thing was the location. Had to drive everywhere due to the roads having no footpaths; very dangerous to walk on especially with pets or children.

We had a really lovely time at the Lodge. The house is a really good size for our party of 7 and the conservatory and games room were a real bonus. The decor throughout was lovely and there was so much thought put into how well equipped the house was. Aberporth was gorgeous and neighbouring Aberaran and Cardigan both had lots to offer. We would highly recommend this property

The most amazing Christmas break at The Lodge, I can't recommend it enough. We had a fantastic time. Owners are by far the most friendly that any one could wish to meet, Pat & Rob made us feel very welcome. Grateful for refreshments on arrival and surprises for the children. I would be happy to recommend this place to friends and family and would return again! Thank you
