The Loft is a pleasant holiday let, the enclosed garden was very important as we could let our dogs out and know they were safe. The kitchen could be better equiped. There were no tea towels, oven gloves, colander or jugs. Also there was no provision to recycle. Not sure if there was a problem with the drains but there was a strong smell in the bathroom.

A lovely time, in a great peaceful location, surrounded by Moors , and close to the steam railway. The owners are very welcoming, and were helpful throughout our stay. The Loft is well equipped, and the garden was very useful given the fine sunny weather.

We arrived to a warm welcome from the owner of the Loft. He gave us a tour and explained how everything worked. The accommodation was lovely and very well presented. We were worried that my husband may struggle with his height as he is 6’5” but he was pleasantly surprised at the headroom and we both felt quite at home instantly. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are plenty of walks to be done. We had a lovely 5 days and would definitely visit again. Only one thing missing from the kitchen was a pair of egg cups for our breakfast eggs.

The Loft has been created with love providing a place to escape, relax and enjoy. It is like being wrapped in a comfort blanket and a place for your creative juices to flow. An added bonus is the delightful tea room below and the lovely couple who look after you with such care and a pepper of humour. We have already booked for our return visit next autumn.
