Very quiet rural setting, local services not far away

A lovely secluded location in a wild-life packed garden. Christopher is a very hospitable host & a charming landlord. The Longbarn Huntbourne is a great base from which to explore the surrounding area & close to Tenterden, which has a great selection of small independent shops. Try to fit in a visit to Chapel Down, the local winery & eat at the restaurant on site. Great wines. Great food.

The Longbarn Huntbourne was idyllic - a beautiful, comfortable cottage in a stunning, peaceful setting. There was a local shop within a 5 minute drive, and Tenterden was less than 10 minutes away, with a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Ideally located for visiting lots of places of interest, we didn't want to leave!

Lovely position and great views. Garden furniture and state of garden could improve this property.

Nice cottage, nice location (isolated, 2 miles from village), kitchen could be better equipped (knifes, pans). Super friendly host

we had a lovely stay and in stead of all kind of plans we stayed put and enjoyed the lovely weather and the "garden". there are several places around were we could sit outside. In the evening we loved the woodburnig stove.

We had a fabulous week and would recommend it. The barn was just what we needed and everyone had a brilliant holiday. Would love to come back.

A very comfortable cottage. Very clean with everything you need. Lovely location with views of fields all around. Close to the market town of Tenterden which has plenty of nice shops, cafes and pubs.

This lovely barn was super cosy and full of character! Our dog loved the log burner, and watching the sheep in the field next door. The surrounding countryside was very peaceful, and we were only a 5 minute drive from the shops and pubs in Tenterden. A lovely holiday home for our Kentish holiday, thank you!

We booked this cottage for us to have a holiday for Christmas somewhere in Kent and found this lovely cottage in the country near Tenterden. Set in a large farmland setting which was ideal for walking and our dog. Lovely country surrounding the area and as we enjoyed it so much we have booked for the Spring to be able to explore the sights of interest. The owner of this cottage was very helpful and we enjoyed sharing the interesting history of the farm.

A beautiful country hideaway, equipped with everything you could possibly need. We had a wonderful stay. The place was absolutely spotless and the owner couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back :-)

The cottage was in such a great location for everything. The host Chris was hospitable yet discreet and nothing was too much trouble. The barn conversion was quaint with all the usual mod cons and very warm for the month we choose. I would love to come back again. Bed was comfy and the tranquillity of the location re charged the batteries of life.
