Popular Bourton-on-the-Water, often described as the ‘Little Venice’ of the Cotswolds, and home to Birdland and a fascinating model village, is only 6 miles, and the myriad delights of historic Stratford, Oxford, Cirencester and Cheltenham are easily accessible. The Cotswold Water Park’s 40 acres, offering an impressive array of land and waterbourne activities, are just 20 miles.

Wanted a weekend away with 2 dogs. The Oaks was perfect with the large living space and tiled floor! Lovely and warm and bonus of homemade sour dough.

Wonderfully kind, friendly and helpful hosts, Kate and Martin. This converted barn has everything one could need. Rustic on the outside but modern on the inside. Well stocked with dishes, and good appliances. Nice to have the heated floors. Quiet location in the country with many quaint Cotswold villages within a short drive. Good internet connections. One of their sons bakes the most delicious crusty sourdough bread. We were addicted after the first few bites.

Lovely converted barn requiring one or two little ‘touch ups’ after much use no doubt. Nice touch with coffee, tea etc left together with cookies & home made bread. Never had such luxuries before when renting somewhere! I was surprised by the fact that the bedding was sheet & blankets. Haven’t slept in them since I was about 10 & I am now hurtling towards 60. Found them a bit of a pain when making the bed. Much prefer the ease of a duvet but that is a personal preference. Would be a bit of a push to sleep 5 adults as the 3 singles are up on the mezzanine & very snug. Ideal for us as a couple or a young family. Great location with all attractions well within a decent distance. Blenheim, Stratford etc.

Cottage is clean and reasonably equipped. As right next to farm office noise starts early. The large windows also look directly onto the farm courtyard so no views of the countryside.

The Oaks is a perfect central location to visit the highlights in the cotswolds. The cottage itself is very noisy. It is well equiped, a good and spacy bathroom and very light.

Clean and comfortable, and very cosy. The owners were very friendly, and we had everything we needed there. They even brought us a delicious loaf of sourdough bread baked in their own bakery.

We booked three of the barns for a family gathering at New Year. They were all very comfortable and well equipped with underfloor heating, which kept us cosy. The barns were all family friendly, suiting the needs of our four generations and several dogs very well. The setting is peaceful with two friendly resident dogs and two lovely, curious goats that wander around the farm. We received a warm welcome from the owners who had a relaxed approach and were very accommodating. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well apart from one incident of creaky floor boards (as you might expect in a barn) waking the baby during the night. One of the bedrooms in The Oaks is a mezzanine which wouldn’t suit everyone but overall the space is very generous and enjoyable. Thank you, we all had a lovely time at Ash Farm.
