Hoseasons "Outdoor heated swimming pool At the foot of Grabbist Hill NT in the Exmoor National Park these four beautifully furnished and well-equipped Grade II listed cottages are set in the grounds of 16th century Ellicombe Manor. Our fourth time at The Old Coach House over the past few years. The accommodation is very comfortable and meets all our holiday needs. The gardens are exquisite and we find new interesting corners each time with our dogs. The location is ideal for visiting town, sea, moor and “mountain”.

Quiet, relaxing cottage. Lovely gardens. Lovely to have the heated swimming pool to use. Helpful owners. Only downside is furniture and bed could do with updating. Overall a lovely holiday

Bev and Keith gave us a warm welcome and provided much useful information about the area including a map with personal recommendations which proved invaluable as we were new to the area. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. The location was very peaceful set in beautiful gardens with a wonderful heated outdoor pool immaculately maintained. A couple of very minor quibbles would be that the bedroom curtains were very thin (daylight being early at this time of the year!) and bedroom and bathroom windows were very difficult to open. The holiday left us feeling very relaxed and refreshed.

As other guests have noted, Bev and Keith were excellent hosts and gave us a wonderful starter for our 2 week stay. The area is beautiful and in late June / early July the weather was good and the scenary wonderful and best of all, it was not too crowded. The Old Coach House proved to be a fine base for touring Exmoor and the paddock was ideal for our 2 Goldies. (Oh, the garden was delightful but we never used the pool since there was too much to entertain us!). We note that the "estate" is up for sale.

Been here several times and already booked in for our Autumn break. That probably says all we need to say.

An excellent holiday due to the friendliness and thoughtful care of visitors by the owners. We were provided with a large scale OS map of the area with suggested trips, views and eating places marked. A pair of binoculars was also loaned. The highlights of the cottage were the accessibility of a large section of their garden which was available to us, a very well maintained swimming pool with lounging furniture, the wildlife - both fauna and flora and the large wild flower paddock providing an on-site dog walk. The local area provided much of interest. A very enjoyable week.

This is a cosy warm and beautifully situated cottage, the grounds and swimming pool are delightful. The owners are very friendly and helpful, greeting us on arrival and even supplying binoculars and map with areas of interest marked. Minehead with its' shops and Dunster village, beach and castle are all within walking distance.
