The bedroom also overlooks the garden below and has a kingsize bed with 100% cotton bed linen, an antique wardrobe, a wash basin and smart TV.
With a gentle downhill walk to the centre of Grasmere village, this comfortable and homely holiday apartment retains all of its traditional charm while also offering modern amenities and facilities – such as broadband and Wi-Fi – for a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable holiday in the heart of the Lake District. It is an excellent base for walking, with access to the fells, Alcock Tarn and the famous ‘Coffin Route’ directly from the garden. Ambleside, 3 miles, and Keswick, 12 miles, offer a full range of attractions and there are many historic houses and gardens locally. Grasmere, famous for gingerbread, Wordsworth and Dove Cottage, has a good selection of restaurants, a wide variety of shops (including a small supermarket, PO, newsagents, chemist and bakers) and a parish church all within 1 mile of the apartment.
