Lovely weekend away. Beautiful location and everything you need in this lovely, homely cottage. Enjoyable visits to Clevedon and Bristol. Lots to do in the area.

The cottage was lovely - only negative was the lack of toilet rolls, a mirror in the main bedroom and generally the lighting is very dim. But we had a lovely time there. I was unable to work the cooker as the on button was not the one indicated as cooker. It was ideal as the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the cottage which felt like space (Daughter with Mum visit)
It might be a good idea to get a sensor light for returning once it is dark - we forgot our torch one night and was difficult to see.
We chose this cottage as we were visiting family locally and had not been there for years was surprised that Cam was so big. Lots to see and do in the local area.

Lovely 4 night break with our 2 boys (5 and 1). Nice clean lodge with a large open plan living area and two big bedrooms, in a very quiet location. Cheltenham, Bourton on Water, Slimbridge, Bath and Cattle Country Activity Farm all worth a visit (plus there's a large Tesco a 4 min drive away). All in all a great holiday!

very well-equipped, clean cottage, located in picturesque surroundings. It is a shame that Cam does not have a good pub/restaurant for dining out in the evening.

The location was good to reach places we wanted to visit. The equipment was as described but one bed was hard and uncomfortable. We were disappointed because we chose The Old Dairy as it was all on one level and the photo showed a patio and grass outside. The grass was fenced off and our dog found the large gravelled outside area difficult to walk on.

We really enjoyed our stay , the accomodation was amazing, very peaceful and ideal location for exploring the cotswolds . We really appreciated the fresh eggs and the fresh cucumber and the small hamper we had on arrival.
We would really recommend this property but be prepared to drive out to places of interest.

Well placed for walking . Cottage was good but we think probably better for 2 people not 4 .

We were there for 3days in a heatwave and find it airy and comfortable, helped by tile floors, high ceilings and partial shade from a large tree. Equipped to a high standard we found the lighting to be more atmospheric than brilliant but that often is the way with holiday cottages. Lights on the cooker hood could be used if you had any small print to read.

We stayed at The Old Dairy this April as a base to visit in and around Gloucestershire. We were three family adults. From the moment we arrived we had a very warm welcome from Louise who made sure we had everything we needed. A welcome pack awaited us and our dog was also well catered for with his own basket of goodies and a blanket.
We have stayed in many holiday homes as a family over the years and this one truly had EVERYTHING we needed for a relaxing base. I usually find a few things that I could have done with in holiday accommodation but The Old Dairy had it all. It was clean, tidy and organised. The kitchen was modern and well equipped including a nice touch of a coffee maker. The owners encourage recycling and the recycling arrangements were very clear and easy to use.
The bathroom (en suite) and shower room were clean with essential toiletries to start you off. The shower worked really well with good pressure and hot water and there were hot towel rails in both rooms which worked with the heating. This too was easy to use.
The open plan lounge and kitchen area was light, fresh and comfortable with the added bonus of a sofa bed if you have more people staying. The TV was Freesat and there was a DVD player with films for evening relaxation.
The two bedrooms were well lit and the beds were comfortable. The bedding and linen was hypoallergenic, a must for us.
A very lovely home, not cluttered but equipped beautifully.
Whilst there we had a BBQ using the patio wood burner and the free basket of wood and kindling supplied.
There is tiled flooring throughout so we never had any worry about going for a walk in the fields with the dog and getting a little muddy. There is a paddock that you can use to exercise your family pooch on site with beautiful views across the Severn Valley to Wales.
The site is secure and in a quiet area outside Dursley and even though there is a road running beside it, traffic noise was not an issue. It provides a very good base for walking, visiting towns and cities in the Cotswolds and several counties and is easily within reach of the Welsh border.
We would thoroughly recommend staying here and would hope to return in the future.

Very well equipped especially the kitchen. Good farm setting - more equestrian than agricultural so no mud and mire. Very pleasant welcome and farewell from the owner. Super countryside round and about and a stones throw from the Cotswolds. Recommended property.
