Exellent place, everything you need in the cottage is there Will be back Peacefull location, quite So what the doctor ordered

The cottage is adjacent to the owners working farm, with a beautiful, very large private garden. Stunning views across the fields, very quiet and peaceful. You will have to drive a short distance to find shops and places to eat, but worth the fact that it’s so peaceful there.

This is a studio...we weren't sure but thought it was 1 bedroom, not ideal with a snoring dog. Great location but really you have to drive to shops, pubs etc More info regarding local walks and places of interest would have been welcome Friendly hosts, comfortable and clean accommodation. Internet intermittent

Nasty smell from kitchen sink waste, reported to owners but not dealt with. Tv too small to watch comfortably, I.e. seating too far away. Some utensils had to be washed before use. Two of us each with our own iPads, but both of us having great difficulty accessing the net, very hit or miss. And spiders, I have a phobia, need I say more?

Lovely restful holiday peaceful setting comfortable accommodation everything that you needed

Absolutely lovely. A very quirky/quaint place with picturesque views. On a working farm but so quiet. The hosts are fantastic, great sense of humour, very friendly but leave you alone to have peace and quiet. However always on hand. They went out their way when we had car trouble. As for the area, quiet but so many places to walk and many places to visit. Will be returning

A very friendly and helpful host in a farm setting. The Old Library is the perfect hidaway - cosy, peaceful, clean and warm. There are leaflets on places of interest and a collection of good books, of course! A little orchard with apple trees and daffodils surround the cottage. The owners offer a guided tour of their working farm if interested. There are lots of fascinating places to explore nearby and you won't have enough time to see them all. The only option is to return.

We had a fabulous mini-break at The Old Library. The cottage was cosy and peaceful and had everything we needed. We went on some lovely walks and the location was perfect for us. Ursula and Julian made us feel very welcome. Thank you so much!

    Lovely place, lovely people

    out of 10

Julian and Ursula gave us a very warm welcome and everything was perfect. The cottage was spotless and very comfortable with all the facilities you could ask for and best of all, a real log fire which made our stay even cosier. The garden and views across the fields were spectacular and will definitely return in the near future. Highly recommended!

A peaceful and quiet weekend that was well deserved! No need for Wi-Fi or any technology, open the front door and you have all you need inside and out! We will definatly be back, if only for him to do his Bear Gryls impersonation again!

It was a lovely cottage in a lovely setting with lovely views plus very quiet, so easy to get to surrounding beauty spots in Kent.
