This holiday home of character is a result of the loving conversion of an old parish hall dating from 1906. It retains original features such as wooden floors and cast iron fire surrounds, with a woodburner in the hallway. A balcony opens from the rear living room and there is an additional sitting-out area at the front. Just at the edge of the village of Drimoleague, which is at the heart of West Cork, the area has lovely mapped and illustrated riverside and country walks, pitch and putt and fishing. Visitors are well placed for exploring the spectacular Mizen, Sheep’s Head and Beara Peninsulas, the off-shore islands and coastal villages. Skibbereen, 8 miles and Bantry, 10 miles, offer weekly country and farmers’ markets. Shops, pubs and restaurant 300 yards.
Approximate distance to Cork airport is 68 km.
