    This is the best cottage I've stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few. The cottage is in a beautiful setting with a lovely lounge/ kitchen, conservatory and three bedrooms, all with ensuite, bathrooms. The cottage is cosy and you can relax in a conservatory with a scenic view. All is at ground floor, so no tricky stairs to worry about! Ten minutes drive away there is a nice town with all the amenities you could want, including pubs and restaurants. The owners live next door and are ready to meet all your needs. Perfect!

    We absolutely loved our stay. We will be trying to book again soon. Owners were so lovely and friendly. Photos on line of the property don't do it justice and not one fault we could find. Hope to stay again there soon.

    We spent a week at the old stables and used it as a base for visiting the area. Overall it was good value for money but found it to be a little bit run down. The garden furniture was rotten as we found out when one of our group fell through a chair. There were a few small things that could of made the experience better/easier but again overall value for money was good. If you looking to use it as a base and not spend too much time there it's perfect The owners are next door and were very friendly and sorted out any problems promptly. It's a beautiful location very quiet set well away from the road the setting is beautiful. You will definitely need a car to get around as it's fairly remote. The town of Shirley Bridge is close by with lots of amenities. Including a lovely restaurant Sale Pepe. Italian cuisine was great. So verdict is good value but only as a base to explore by car.

    Beautifully kept cottage. Peaceful, should have stayed longer. One minor point, the Television would keep breaking up on the picture but this did not spoil the break. Would we stay here again, that's a definite yes.

    An ideal base for touring this most scenic of areas by car. The property was clean,tidy, well laid out and adequately equipped. The 'garden room' looking out onto a walled garden was just the place to relax on a sunny evening after a full day's touring. We would use the location again and highly re commend it to others.
