    Lovely comfortable and well equipped cottage. Friendly owners and plenty to see and do within a short distance including Beamish, NT Gibside, Hexham Abbey and Vindalanda. Would highly recommend to anyone.

    A fantastic cottage in a beautiful setting. The cottage was well equipped and was great for 6 of us staying for a long weekend. The friendly owners live on site and if there was anything we needed they were on hand to help us. It was great to be able to use the tennis court. The sun room and patio area were well used too. It was a great base for exploring the local area and several visitor attractions were short drives away. Local shops were approx. a 10 min driveway in nearby Consett which isn't difficult to get to. Overall a fantastic holiday.

    Beautiful cottage. Lovely location. Nice and safe for kids Boys loved the tennis courts. My dog loved it too. I will defiantly be back.

    This is the best cottage I've stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few. The cottage is in a beautiful setting with a lovely lounge/ kitchen, conservatory and three bedrooms, all with ensuite, bathrooms. The cottage is cosy and you can relax in a conservatory with a scenic view. All is at ground floor, so no tricky stairs to worry about! Ten minutes drive away there is a nice town with all the amenities you could want, including pubs and restaurants. The owners live next door and are ready to meet all your needs. Perfect!

    We absolutely loved our stay. We will be trying to book again soon. Owners were so lovely and friendly. Photos on line of the property don't do it justice and not one fault we could find. Hope to stay again there soon.
