Standing detached at the end of the restored Blairmore Pier the holiday property offers a variety of activities including walking fishing cycling golf quad biking and a range of watersports. The area abounds with wildlife and visitors can take a leisurely stroll through magnificent woodland gardens at nearby Benmore Botanic Gardens. Further afield there are day excursions to Inveraray Oban and Loch Lomond.     Pretty cottage in a stunning location. Everyday was a joy to wake up and look out of the windows onto Loch Long, we even saw a couple of navy mine sweepers and a nuclear submarine going down the lock!! Only one minor fault was the bed a little uncomfortable but then how many people can sleep in a bed that is not their own?? All in all would definately recommend but I understand from the owner that she is moving in (she is so lucky :)) so will only be renting out a few months each year so it will get booked up very very quickly.

    Old ticket office is a fantastic place to stay overlooking the loch,loads of wildlife to see right in front of you.Navey frigates, helicopters ,and even submarine sufaced.fishing from end of pier was good for mackeral at time we where there . Very relaxing week didnt want to leave for home.

    It's a very cute little place in a stunning location. Not much in the way of amenities until you get to Dunoon (about 20 mins drive) but if you like peace and quiet and your own lochside garden to sit in it can't be bettered.

    A great holiday property in an amazing location, will definitely be returning. One thing to be aware of if you have a dog is that in some places the fence around the property is less than 1 metre high so you do need to keep a very close eye on your dog to make sure they haven't escaped! Also there is no fence toward the loch and it's a drop of about 2-3 metres onto rocks and the stoney beach.
