The Sett is the largest of three properties in this barn conversion. It lies on the outskirts of Keswick and enjoys magnificent views and perfect surroundings.

Please note: This property has a natural water supply via spring.
The Sett is set in acres of gardens, woodland and meadow (which we are re-wilding with 4000 trees and a new tarn), home to badgers, foxes, red squirrels, owls and many song birds. Views through the window looking out to helvellyn and the Dodd range of fells, this is a lovely cottage from which to explore the fells, or relax on a small rural estate.
Walking from the door in the Naddle, St Johns in the Vale valleys, or magnificent High Rigg fell. Raven Crag, Castlerigg Stone Circle and Tewets tarn are all within a few miles walk.
The cottage is spacious, airy and very well appointed. These little details make The Sett an extremely comfortable place to stay. After a day on the fells, the spacious open-plan living area is a great place to relax and unwind in with two comfortable sofas to sink into. The open-plan kitchen has plenty of space and is well equipped, its breakfast bar is perfect for when you’re in a hurry or feeding the kids. At the entrance is a seating area with plenty of space for your outdoor gear.
The huge floor-to-ceiling windows fill the room with light and look out onto the pretty fellside garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ, and you can watch for red squirrels visiting the feeder close to your cottage! Enjoy the picturesque views to the Helvellyn range from the living room. Extensive grounds, including a children’s play area with a play tower, are shared with other properties on-site. After a day of muddy good fun, there is a shared laundry room located on the ground floor with washing machine and drying space to help you get your clothes clean.
